seemed high enough to me, but when I tried to get out they told me
I'd die, so I stuck with the plan to 12,000ft, and that was definitely

| A visit to the Maori concert and Hangi (dinner - always try the local food!) was a must, but Wayne couldn't stop doing the face of the guy in the middle for days after! | ||

| Only a 7 hour walk to the Tama Lakes by Mt Ruapehu, Wayne took it in his stride and I trotted along behind. | ||
