Tam
Coc is described as the fresh water Ha Long Bay, so we took a day
trip to see it and a few old Pagoda's. It was very beautiful and we
didn't have to think for ourselves, which is what day tripping is
all about, I believe. |

This
sign informed us on our way in that the forest is impotant, so I
don't know how all that flora and fauna got there! |
Pagoda, temple, pagoda, temple, yes very beautiful but there can
be a sense of 'deja vu' after a while
|
And
if you're not looking at temples or pagoda's then chances are you'll
definitely need to buy something. |

This
was meant to be a leisurely trip down the river, our captain on the
left was a widow from the war, the guy in the middle was just too
cool. They saw the size of us and decided that there was no way they
were going to power us up the river, so they got Wayne on the case,
lucky they didn't ask me! |

This
is for Catriona's dad, because he likes buffalo. |
Three
people paddling meant we were travelling at quite a rate.
|
Through
the tunnels, very amusing for the Vietnamese, I have no doubt that
we were rowed into the lowest part of the caves. |
